Andrew Hill, CPA
Andrew joined our team as a staff accountant in 2016; in 2017 Andrew became a partner. Andrew has over 15 years of experience in finance. He specializes in Individual and Business taxes, gift taxes, Out of state taxes and reporting, payroll and payroll taxes, assurance services. Andrew graduated from Virginia Tech in 1998 with a Bachelors in Agricultural and applied economic; continuing his education he graduated from Old Dominion University in 2015 with his Master of Science.
Meagan Schultz, CPA
Meagan joined our team in 2017 as a staff accountant and became a Partner in 2020. Meagan has over 15 years of experience in finance working for A.G. Edwards and Wells Fargo. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1998 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and switched to the field of finance when she completed her MBA in 2005 from the College of William and Mary. She specializes in non-profit accounting and taxation, trust and estate accounting and reporting, and individual taxation. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids.
Barbara Crowe, CPA
Barbara joined our team in 2013. She is married with two children. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 1985. Barbara specializes in accounting standard, accounting research contents and non-profit accounting and taxation. When Barbara is not in the office you will find her spoiling her grandchildren.
Grace Kenyon, Staff Accountant
Grace joined out team in 2016. She is a mother of two children. Grace has been a resident of James City County for over 36 years. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in 1984 from Christopher Newport. Grace specializes in QuickBooks, payroll and bookkeeping. She is our QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Tracy Vergowe, Staff Accountant
Tracy joined our team in 2018. She is married and has two amazing children and a dog named Lady. Tracy received her master’s in business management from Robert Morris University in 2011 and then continued her education to receive her second master’s in accounting from Strayer University in 2015. Tracy specializes in preparing the Accounting for Commissioner reports. Fun fact about Tracy is that she has raised over $20,000 for breast cancer.
Ben Puckett, Staff Accountant
Ben joined our team in 2018. Ben is a retired senior living executive with 37 years’ experience leading retirement communities and long-term care facilities. Since his retirement in 2017 he has worked as a tax preparer and financial consultant to local businesses. He specializes in individual taxation. He also serves on several local nonprofit boards. He has degrees from University of Virginia (B.A.), Va. Commonwealth University (B.S.) and Lynchburg College (M.B.A.). Ben is married and has 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
Mary McDonald, CPA (Seasonal staff)
Mary has over 30 years’ experience in public accounting in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Mary specializes elder care services, preparation and compliance for individuals and small business owners. Mary has moved from a full-time team member to working just during the tax season, in early February until May of each year.
Mike Adams, Seasonal Staff Accountant
Mike works in our office during the tax season. He specializes in our trust and estate tax returns.
Alaina Kremer, Office Manager
Alaina joined our team in 2018. She is married with three amazing children. Alaina is a notary. She specializes in the daily operations of our office and our billing.
